||Diane Roth came to Woodlake in May, 1998, after serving for four years as pastor to three churches in rural South Dakota. Her areas of responsibility include small group ministry, contemporary worship and social justice ministry. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. For three years she served as a missionary and teacher in Japan before entering Luther Northwestern Seminary. She received her Master of Divinity degree in 1994.
Diane and her husband John, whom she married in 1999, live in Richfield. They are just about empty nesters now: his two sons have graduated from college and are on their own. They are comforted in their loneliness by their four-year-old golden retriever mix, Scout.
